How can I book a ticket for my baby?

Children below the age of two years should be booked as babies/infants.

This means that the baby is not allocated its own seat, but must sit on an adult’s lap. Please note that you must book a child's ticket for the complete trip if the child will turn two during the trip.

It is not possible to make a reservation for an unborn child. This is because the reservation information must be the same as the information in the passport that the child will have, with the correct name and date of birth. Therefore, you should wait until the baby is born and has its own passport before you make the reservation.

We can also make the following requests to the airline for you:

  • Bassinet baby bed (if you are travelling outside Europe). To make a request for a bassinet we would need the following information: the baby's date of birth, estimated height and weight at the date of departure.
  • We can make a request to book baby food.
  • We can make a request to book special seats for passengers with babies.

Please note, while we can request these services from the airline, we can never guarantee them, as they are dependant on airline availability.
